Dungeon System Overhaul (Spawn & Structure Pass)


This update focuses on fixing and stabilizing the dungeon spawn system while upgrading the dungeon from a test space into a proper in-world structure.


WHAT’S NEW

• The dungeon is now a real in-world compound instead of a tiny test box:

  - Two rooms connected by a corridor

  - Proper doorways and archway passages

  - Torches that emit warm, dynamic light (PointLights attached)

  - Props added for readability and atmosphere (pillars, table, barrels, chest)


• Dungeon pieces are now treated as permanent world geometry:

  - They are NOT saved into player sessions (keeps saves clean)

  - They DO persist when a session is restored and will not be deleted


• Collision updates automatically after the dungeon builds:

  - Floors are fully walkable

  - Doorways and passages are passable as intended


UNDER THE HOOD

• Removed a duplicate cave planning call that could cause incorrect behavior

• Ongoing work to fix dungeon spawn reliability and placement
